WEC Grid 2026: Who Is Representing Ferrari In The LMGT3 Class?
With the first race of the FIA World Endurance Championship nearly upon us, it’s time to look at which teams are driving the Ferrari 296 LMGT3 Evo during the 2026 season.
If you’re as excited as I am for the start of the FIA World Endurance Championship, then you’ll be happy to know that the Ferrari LMGT3 teams have already confirmed their driver lineups for the upcoming 2026 season opener.
In total, the 2026 WEC grid will host 18 LMGT3s, with nine manufacturers competing for the biggest crown in GT3 endurance racing. Ferrari, McLaren, Aston Martin, BMW, Chevrolet, Mercedes, Ford, Lexus, and Porsche are the current manufacturers ready to compete for the championship. No manufacturer has more than two cars representing them on the LMGT3 grid, but each team will have three drivers per car. At the moment, many of the teams are yet to announce all of their drivers, however, Vista AF Corse Ferrari are one of the few teams to have named both crews for the 2026 season.
Vista AF Corse Confirm Their 2026 WEC Driver Lineup
Vista AF Corse is the only team representing Ferrari in the LMGT3 class in 2026, with the highly successful team entering two cars for the WEC grid. The car numbers are the same this year, with the #21 and #54 both returning. However, they will be on the side of the upgraded Ferrari 296 LMGT3 Evo, instead of last year's Ferrari 296 LMGT3.
As mentioned, the Ferrari crew has already confirmed their lineups for 2026, and despite the cars changing this year, the drivers inside the Ferrari 296 LMGT3 Evo will remain the same. In the #21, François Hériau, Simon Mann, and Alessio Rovera will try to replicate their success last season, but will hope to do one better in the championship standings, coming 2nd place in 2025 behind the #92 Manthey 1st Phorm team. Despite their slightly underwhelming season compared to the #21, the #54 Vista AF Corse Ferrari crew also remains the same, with Thomas Flohr, Francesco Castellacci, and Davide Rigon returning to the grid.
#21 Vista AF Corse Ferrari 2026 WEC Driver Lineup: François Hériau (Bronze), Simon Mann (Silver), Alessio Rovera (Platinum)
#54 Vista AF Corse Ferrari 2026 WEC Driver Lineup: Thomas Flohr (Bronze), Francesco Castellacci (Silver), Davide Rigon (Platinum)
